In early November, Cedarfield’s Assisted Living and Special Care Center
was awarded a triennial license by the Virginia Department of Social Services.
This is the sixth time Cedarfield has earned this achievement since
1997. This is an extraordinary accomplishment.
What
is a triennial license?
A
triennial license is a three year licensure that may be issued when a
facility’s activities, services, and management routinely and substantially exceed
the minimum standards set forth by regulations adopted by the State Board
of Social Services, as well as any additional requirements that may be specified
by the Code of Virginia.
